Has anyone ever been camping at Mark Twain Lake in Missouri?
I have never been there before and we are going camping there 8-11-06. If you have camped there please answer me.

Camping in the Lake district?
Were hoping to go away as a group of several family’s, 8 tents, camping in hopefully the lake district. Its not just groups of youths its all family’s were just looking to go away together. were struggling to find a campsite that will take groups booking. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks

That’s tough, especially in the Lake District as it’s so popular. When are you thinking of going? Campsite are often wary of groups as they imagine they will all be loud and drunken (which is not the case)!

What should I bring when I go camping at Lake Jennings?
I’m going camping at Lake Jennings on April 7th.
This is my first time camping so I’m not sure what to bring and what to put the stuff I bring in. ( I was thinking of bringing a small suitcase )
We are staying at 1:OOpm on April 7th until 1:OOpm on April 8th.
This is my friend’s party so I don’t need to bring food.
I’m 1O years old.
I don’t know if there is a shower or not so please tell me if I should bring to a towel and toilet paper.
Should I also bring clothes because I don’t know where to change.
I think there will be bathrooms because I heard my friends say to bring toothbrush but will I have to bring toothpaste?
Things I know what to bring:
Sleeping Bag
Toothbrush
Pillow
Also should I put my stuff in a small suitcase because I don’t want my friends to laugh at me?

Yes, you will need toothpaste. You might want to bring some snacks like trail mix or granola bars. Also, if you have a backpack, you could use it to put your things in. Bring a jacket or sweat shirt in case it gets cool in the evening. (Check the included link for other packing ideas.) Have a great time!

So yesterday i got my cartilage pierced is it okay to go swimming in a lake?
im going to camp for 8 weeks and i always go in the lake while in there… can i still go?

You’ll be risking serious infection so soon after the procedure. Lake water isn’t really known for being sterile or even clean since it’s usually stagnant water. However, if you are diligent in cleaning it afterwards, your likeliness of infection is decreased. Maybe should have held off for, oh say, 8 weeks?
