Do black people go bowling and camping?
I’m not saying this out of racism or any other garbage so please save me the biggot comments. I’ve never seen black people bowling or camping and I’m wonderif they just don’t bowl where I bowl or camp where I camp.
Yes. I have seen people of all ethnic backgrounds and nationalities camping and bowling. I am friends with several African-American families through my various Jeep and Off-Roading organizations that go on off-road and camping expeditions. When I was a scout leader we had a statistically-representative number of African-American boys in our pack and they went on camping trips at about the same rate as Caucasians, Hispanics and Asians.
I am not a big bowler so I can’t say much about that, but I did find this link to the Black Bowler’s Hall of Fame: http://www.bowlerhalloffame.com/home.html
Where to find a collapsible bucket for camping?
I will be using this for washing dishes while camping. I’d prefer something lightweight….I know excatly what I am looking for but haven’t been able to find it, and am not sure it exsists! The perfect container would be made of strudy vinyl, and look like a large bowl. About 15″ in diameter, and after I’m done using it, the sides could be collapsed flat to the base. I hope that makes sense! Does anyone know where I could find something like this? If not, what do you use to wash dishes in camp?
As an alternative, you might try a kitchen supply place and get a big silicone baking pan. They aren’t cheap, but they can be smashed down small and spring back into shape and they are easily cleaned.
So im taking my girls camping? What all do i need?
I am taking my dogs camping with me (this is my first time camping as well) what do i need to take? i mean i know food bowls and leashes but is there anything else? should i bring my tie out chains? they will be sleeping in the tent with us (theres 2 sections in the tent so they will sleep in the front and we will sleep in back) so what all do i need? if i bring a first aid for dogs what do i need to put in it?
Water more than anything, food, and I have seen survival (first aid kits for hunting dogs, etc…) If you bring supplies for rugged terrains be sure to include your dog in it. Make sure they have good leash (none with any rips/tears) tie outs/ chains and that they always have a clean, fresh COOL water with them. Do not let them drink from any streams or lakes they can catch Giardia/ other parisites from that water.(They might be stresed there and when you get back so do not worry if they do not eat as much but when you get home, within a day or two at the most they should resume their normal behavior). I suggest Google: camping with dogs, there you should find a multitude of resources. Also, if your dogs are digger or chewers be sure that they are tied outside before you bring them into your tent. They can chew right through your tent, escape and you not realize till dawn. Just a word of advise there. Have a great trip!
Can my titanium camping dishes be washed in the dishwasher?
I have a (i believe) Snow Peak brand titanium bowl and a couple of spoons (REI TiWare Long handled spoon) that we generally use for camping. I can’t find anything that indicates they are dishwasher safe, my packaging and labels are long gone on these items. Anyone know the Manufacturer recommend, or their own practical experience with putting titanium in a dishwasher?
Titanium is the toughest stuff you can buy for plates and cutlery!! Of course it’s safe.
You don’t need ‘dishwasher safe’ instructons for the toughest metal objects you can buy.
Jet engine bits are made from it. The Blackbird aircraft, fastest operational aircraft ever at the time, was made from it. 85% titanium. The rest was composites.
Dishwashers put hot water and detergent over things, and oxygen-based cleaners if you use the tablets. They go up to 80C if your lucky.
Titanium will handle that for thousands of years of continuous washing!!
Titaium blades in jet engine turbines handle a lot more heat than that.
Here’s the plane….3000mph. Outran missiles. Never ever hit.
Never even once.
Made of titanium because it’s the only metal that could handle what the plane was for.
.Ignore the specs on the top. They’re idiot talk. The pics it did from above Israel were from 90 000 feet. The only plane that could do it.
It got fired at over Jordan. Coming back. Metal to the floor it did over 3000mph.
Not for first time either when it just outran any missile sent to destroy it.
Mach 2 is cruising speed, not top speed.

And you’re worried about a dishwasher.
Ooops. That life folks……..no probs.
