Taking my lab camping for first time? Help?
Hi I am going camping with my 2 year old lab and my bf and his friends for the first time (I have been camping b4 but never had a dog)
My dog responds to simple external stimuli- such as birds, squirrels (to be exact he stands on his hind legs). I need advice because I am afraid he will bark all night being in tent with us because he hears all of the noises from the wildlife walking around. Has that ever been a problem for anyone? Also what do you do with your dogs when you take them camping?

Martin answers:
We had a lab we used to take camping with us all the time. Let him play in the water and wear himself out. When you are ready to go to bed, give him a rawhide bone to chew on. It will keep him calm and he will focus on the bone and not everything else that is going on around your campsite.

Donna asks…
Do you have to like camping in order to be a biologist?
I love to work in a lab but camping or living in the woods is not my thing.

Martin answers:
You can be molecular biologist, cell biologist, bioinformatics scientist, etc and stay in a lab for ever.
On the other hand, I guess ecologists, population biologists, etc spend more time in the open.

CCIE Voice Lab boot camp with dedicated racks?
Lab boot camp with dedicated racks
I am planning to sit for ccie voice in this June, and I am searching for a Voice boot camp in Uk with a dedicated racks. This is my second sitting, and at my first I was bit inexperienced and I spent 8 hours sharing a rack in a boot camp through out the ocurse, and it was not helpful at all.
So if anyone can give me first hand information on a CCIE Voice Boot camp you have studied at which you can recommend, I would be very grateful.

Martin answers:
Ccie voice boot camp with dedicated racks was also once my prime search few months back, after all boot camps are expensive so have to get the best of it.
I did my RS and voice labs and got through, for both i attended winnet uk. They have dedicated racks and no sharing, 100% guaranteed!!

Carol asks…
Do you have to be over age 16 to apply to a camp at a national lab?
I want to attend a camp at brookhaven national lab, and i turn 16 after the camp ends.

Martin answers:
If they said 16 and above, then you have to wait next year.
It never said under 16.
