David asks…

Anyone have good recommendations for tent camping in North Jersey, PA, Southern New York, or Delaware?

We are located in North Jersey, near morristown, looking for camping anywhere near it. Rather have more secluded, but as long as its with tents, it’s doable.

Martin answers:

High Point State Park; Wawayanda State Park – the AT runs right through there and its like 30 min. From where you primitive campsites (there are less primitive too if thats what you prefer. Abram S. Hewitt State Forest. NY – Harriman State Park about 40 min. From you awesome caves.

Wha is the best sleepaway camp for younger kids in the New York PA area?

my boy is 7 years old. We’ll be sending him at 8 years old.

Martin answers:

I don’t think 8′s too young, I went to overnight camp for the first time when I was 8. There is a camp in Philadelphia called Camp Onas that can take kids who are 8-13. Their website is below

Sandy asks…

Does anyone in the York/Adams PA area have any ideas on a campground wedding?

I have gone back and forth about what kind of wedding I want to have, and I am strongly leaning towards a camping theme. Something fun! I am not the traditional type. I am hoping someone can suggest a campground and some other suggestions. Thanks!

Martin answers:

Knoebels’ in Elysburg, PA is AWESOME, it’s a privately owned amusement park that has a campground. That would be very out of the ordinary and a ton of fun! It’s also free to enter the park, which is a bonus. Http://www.knoebels.com/family-reunion.asp

Or, talk to Cabela’s about getting married there, they have an indoor fishing lake that would be a great out-of-the-ordinary backdrop! Www.cabelas.com

Good luck!

Mandy asks…

What is a good preschool at a reasonable rate in Camp Hill, PA.?

We are moving there this month and need to fins a preschool for our four year old son. Most preschools we have been able to find are more then a couple hundred dollars per week! Our old preschool in York PA was only charging around 100 per month. I expect to pay a little more than that due the change in cost of living here but 800+ is crazy. Does anyone know of any good preschools in Camp Hill at a reasonable rate? Thanks in advance!

Martin answers:

Why don’t you search at net or contact local education office. You will get all information related to these topics. Best wishes
