Do you think I could get into this University?

I have one goal in life, to go to the University of Texas at Austin. I know it is a top college. I was wondering if you think I could get accepted into Texas. I live in Pennsylvania and I am currently a sophomore in high school and I am looking to major in journalism.

I have a lot of extra curricular activities I have and will be involved in all the way through my senior year,

-Volunteer Assistant Counselor at a Summer Camp (7,8)
-Youth Group (8,9,10,11,12)
-Bible Quiz Team (church) (10,11,12)
-Puppets Team (church) (10,11,12)
-Teen Ensemble (church) (10,11,12)
-Chorus (9,10)
-Varsity Wrestling Team Manager (10,11,12)

If not Texas than either Pen State, Temple, or Lock Haven University. I live in Pennsylvania and I am currently a sophomore in high school and I am looking to major in journalism.

Also, you might want to differentiate between the plural (universities) and possessive (university’s) if you want to get into college. And why are you asking us our opinions when you already have all the admissions data right there for yourself?

Your link doesnt work. But I think that so far, your chances are pretty good. You have A LOT of extra curricualr activities and your classes looking good. You have a good GPA so far but I would try to get it a little higher. Make sure you get a high score on your ACT when you become a junior though. Good luck with everything though! I think your chances are pretty good though. And besides, your still just a sophmore. You have more time to prepare =]

Yes easily, you look like you have a good background, just get a letter of recommendation and don’t bomb the SATs and i think you’ll be fine. Try to up your gpa to a 90% or higher to seal the deal.
